The MLB Standings 2014 in the AL and NL into the All-Star break has division leaders in the Baltimore Orioles, Los Angeles Dodgers, Detroit Tigers, Oakland Athletics, Washington Nationals, Atlanta Braves and Milwaukee Brewers, while the wild card teams are the Angels, Mariners, Giants and everyone else in the National League.

The AL East has the Baltimore Orioles leading the Toronto Blue Jays by four games and the Yankees by five, while the Rays and Red Sox are each 9.5 games back. The AL Central has the Tigers leading the Royals by 6.5 games and the Indians by one more, while the Oakland A's are tops in the AL east with a 1.5 game lead over the Los Angeles Angels.

The National League has the Nationals and the Braves atop the NL East, while the Brewers lead the Cardinals by one game in the central division. The NL West has the Dodgers leading after they caught the Giants and they are 12 games up on the Padres.

The American League wild card race is more defined than the National League, as the Los Angeles Angels have a six game lead over the Seattle Mariners. The M's have been playing very well this season and they are in wild card contention, leading in the second spot by 2.5 games over the Kansas City Royals and Toronto Blue Jays. The Yankees and the Cleveland Indians are 3.5 games back, while the White Sox and Twins are also hanging on with the Rays and Red Sox.

The National League is going to be a big battle, as the Washington Nationals and Atlanta Braves are battling in the NL east, while the San Francisco Giants, St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Reds and Pittsburgh Pirates are all within three games. The division winners will help shake things out and it could come down to the last game of the season to decide the wild card.
