The Houston Rockets are looking at adding more in free agency after losing out on Chris Bosh and Chandler Parsons and names like Evan Turner, Ray Allen, Greg Oden, Andrew Bynum, Emeka Okafor, Rodney Stuckey, Michael Beasley, Elton Brand and Jameer Nelson remain on the market and could be options after the team signed Trevor Ariza, as the big names like Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James are all signed.

The Rockets have not had the offseason they were hoping for once the 2013-14 schedule ended, as they had big targets like Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James and Chris bosh. According to Pro Basketball Talk, head coach Kevin McHale thinks the team needs to do more after trading away Jeremy Lin and Omer Asik and while the team signed Trevor Ariza to a four-year, $32 million deal to help replace Chandler Parsons, there is still more to go. McHale spoke about cap flexibility and there is always a chance that Daryl Morey looks for a deal like Kevin Love or Rajon Rondo down the line.

The Rockets have cap space to bid on Carlos Boozer and there are also a number of other players on the market that could fit into the scheme for the team. Ray Allen is looking at the Cavaliers, but he could be an option to add depth, as the former Miami Heat star is still a great shooter and is coming off of a year when he helped Miami make the finals. Allen averaged a low of 9.6 points per game last season and was under 40 percent from three, but he still is a nice option and could come on the cheap.

According to CBS Houston Local, the team could look at Jameer Nelson from the Orlando Magic, as he is a free agent as well and could come in and help Patrick Beverly get his footing. The team likes Beverley, but they need more at point and Nelson is a savvy veteran who has been to the finals before and he comes in after averaging seven assists per game and that was in the top 10 for point guards. Nelson has played with Howard before and he also averaged 12 points per game and at 32 years old, he is not totally over the hill yet and could provide strong minutes for the team.

Evan Turner is another option, as he is coming in after a solid season with the Sixers, averaging 14 points and five rebounds. Turner was traded to the Pacers and he is a former number two pick and could help make up for the offense lost with Parsons. The Rockets simply could not match the offer at that price for Parsons and now they will try and replace him with other players. Some other names include Rodney Stuckey as well as Andrew Bynum or Greg Oden. The latter two are injured always, but they could provide some depth for the Rockets after they traded away Asik and missed on Bosh.

The Rockets are coming into the season after losing to the Blazers in the playoffs and now they have the chance to add some more players in free agency after missing out on the big names. Daryl Morey also may be looking for a trade to pull off before the season starts, ala what he did with James Harden.
