Manchester City is coming off of an English Premier League championship and they have signed back Samir Nasri to a new five year deal and this comes as reports say Yaya Toure could be a potential target for EPL teams like Chelsea and Liverpool in the transfer window.

According to Pro Soccer Talk, Nasri signed a new deal with Manchester City and he comes in after a very solid season for the EPL trophy winners. Nasri originally came over from Arsenal and the 27 year old now is back on a five year deal to stay with the franchise and he was part of the championship winning team in 2012 and in 2014.

Nasri scored 11 goals last season and he helped give the team one of the highest scoring offenses in the league and now the French star returns. Nasri may have a bit of a chip on his shoulder after being left off of the World Cup roster, but either way he is happy to be back with Man City.

Toure may be moving as well, according to the Independent, as Chelsea and Liverpool are interested in the Man City star, Toure played for Ivory Coast in the World Cup and the report says that he is hoping to leave the Premier League champions for another team and it comes after he has made his unhappiness known to the team. The report also says that the club not wishing him a happy birthday did not make him too thrilled and he also is dealing with the death of his brother, also saying that he wanted more support from the club after that tragedy.
