Russia's President Vladimir Putin
Russia's President Vladimir Putin (R) and FIFA President Sepp Blatter take part in the official hand over ceremony for the 2018 World Cup scheduled to take place in Russia, in Rio de Janeiro July 13, 2014. "

The 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil is over a now things shift for the next soccer tournament to Russia in 2018 and after the terrible organization, corruption and money spent this time, things are set to get even worse as Vladimir Putin takes over and he has said the next World Cup will cost the most ever and starts up June 8 and lasts until July 8, 2018.

The tournament will be the 21st FIFA World Cup and it has 32 teams coming in and qualifying now starts up soon enough and Russia is already in as the host nation. The Brazil World Cup was a success from the soccer side, but within society and culturally, the answer is far less clear. After all the money spent and corruption in Sochi, the Russia Cup is likely the most corrupted ever and that will be beaten by Qatar in 2022.

FIFA is a totally corrupt organization and they have gotten rich off of another World Cup on the backs of poor people in Brazil and now Germany is the champions and this could be a nice sustained run for the nation.

ABC News reports that the Sochi Olympics were the most costly in history and now the World Cup is poised to do the same. The tournament will have 12 stadiums in 11 cities to host the games and it could cost over $20 billion.
