The World Cup 2014 final has a live stream on Univision for Argentina and Germany from Estádio Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro at 3 pm ET and on TV from ABC and this matchup has Lionel Messi and Thomas Muller matching up for the finals and this is a matchup many expected and this could be a very tight match and could end up as one of the most exciting ever in Brazil after the host nation lost to the Netherlands.

The final between Argentina and Germany has the chance to be a legendary final, as the two teams have previously met twice in the finals before with each nation winning one time. The Germans and Argentina were considered favorites heading into the tournament along with Brazil and Spain and the defending champions were the only one of those teams not to make it to the semifinals.

Brazil totally fell apart following Neymar's injury against Colombia and their nightmare is playing out live, as Argentina is their main rival and now they have a chance to win the title on their home soil. LeBron James is in Brazil for the final and he is a big fan of Lionel Messi and his news made headlines by going back to Cleveland, while Messi now has the chance to crown himself the champion of the world. Argentina and Brazil are big rivals and this makes the final even more important for both teams and now Brazil has to wait a long four years to reflect on how bad this ended up.

Argentina has at least the chance to finish in second place, but Brazil did not even place in the tournament now and Messi has the chance to win it for the continent against the European power in Germany. The Netherlands has already locked up third place and they placed for the second straight tournament after losing to Spain in South Africa and now Germany is the last team standing from their continent.

Messi has been one of the best players in the tournament along with Thomas Muller and now the teams are matching up for the third time ever and this should be the best one yet. Argentina won the matchup in the 1986 game and then Germany took the title in 1990 and now the teams play again for the best of three and that doesn't usually play out in the World Cup. They call the matchup Messi against the Machine and that feels true right now and this game could crown a new all-time best player with Messi.
