The World Cup 2014 final schedule has the Argentina and Germany matchup on Sunday, July 13 on ABC on TV and the start time comes at 3 pm ET from Rio de Janeiro after the Brazil and Netherlands third place game on Saturday and this matchup has Lionel Messi taking on a very talented Germany team with Thomas Muller to see who will win the 2014 title.

Germany comes in after a great game against Brazil and they totally humiliated the host nation 7-1 and now they are hoping some firepower is left for this matchup. Lionel Messi is the best player in the world and he comes in looking to win the Golden Boot in this tournament. Argentina and the Netherlands played in the semis and Argentina won on penalty kicks after a scoreless game in regulation and extra time and now these teams are matching up in the finals for the first time.

Argentina and Germany played in 1986 and 1990 and both teams won one World Cup out of those and now they play again. Coming into this tournament, these were two of the favorites in the field and now they are there are the end and it is a nightmare for Brazil, as Argentina is their biggest rivals. The game is going to be a big one and Brazil will try and salvage what they did against the Netherlands after losing to Germany.
