The MLB Standings in the AL and NL division races are taking shape along with the wild card in the American League and National League near the All-Star break and the leaders include the Detroit Tigers, Oakland Athletics, Toronto Blue Jays, Atlanta Braves, Milwaukee Brewers and San Francisco Giants, while the Seattle Mariners, LA Angels and Dodgers are all in postseason position.

The Toronto Blue Jays are the first place team in the AL East over the Baltimore Orioles and New York Yankees, while the Red Sox and Rays are the bottom two teams. The Tigers are back in control of the central division and they are 4.5 games up, while the Cleveland Indians and Chicago White Sox are next in the standings over the Minnesota Twins. The AL West is starting to get very interesting, as the Oakland A's have lost three in a row and are 3.5 games up on the Angels and 4.5 games up on the Mariners, who have gone 8-2 over their last 10 games.

The Mariners have been the hottest team in baseball over the past month and they have been holding down the second wild card spot for a little while and are just one game behind the Angels in the first spot. The two teams have the wild card spots out of the AL west and the next team in the standings is the Baltimore Orioles at 1.5 games back, while the Kansas City Royals and NY Yankees are next in the standings ahead of the Indians and White Sox.

The NL East has the Atlanta Braves in the lead over the Washington Nationals, while the Miami Marlins are in third place. The NY Mets are 10 games back ahead of the Philadelphia Phillies, while the Brewers have the biggest lead in the National League with five games over the Cardinals. The West is tight and has the Giants and Dodgers locked in and they are battling after a great stretch from Los Angeles.

The NL Wild Card and the NL West has some crossover, with the Giants and Dodgers tied for the lead, while the Washington Nationals are in the second wild card spot. The St. Louis Cardinals are next in the standings ahead of the Pittsburgh Pirates, while the Reds and Miami Marlins are next in the race.

Check here for the MLB division standings and wild card standings heading into the last week before the All-Star break.
