The Yankees need this game after losing a heartbreaker to the Rays the night before and they need to start turning things around. The team can't get a hit when they need to and even with Brian Roberts hitting a home run in the ninth to tie the games, the team couldn't get enough together in extra innings to finish off the game.
The team now turns to Kuroda and they need him to continue playing well, as CC Sabathia is on the DL and Michael Pineda is as well. The team is still just three back of the Blue Jays in the division standings and they have the chance to get things going in the right direction on Tuesday
