Bosnia-Herzegovina fell victim to Lionel Messi in their opening game against Argentina. Now the team has no points to their name headed into a must-win match against Nigeria who at least earned one point from Iran. However, things should get easier for Bosnia-Herzegovina since their final match is against Iran. If the team can manage a point against Nigeria, they stand a better shot at advancement.

Bosnia-Herzegovina enters as the second-best team in Group F and now they must prove it. They played well against Argentina, but not well enough to hold off Messi and his quest for redemption. After scoring as a substitute, Vedad Ibisevic will earn a start against Nigeria. He will play in the frontside along with Edin Dzeko. The team is also getting news after hearing that captain Emir Spahic will bounce back just fine from a scary knee injury the team was worried would knock him out of play. Muhamed Besic will be expected to continue as the defensive anchor for the team and hold off Nigeria's attackers who can score with the right opportunity.

Nigeria has talent on the roster, but not to the tune of what Argentina had. Nigeria's road to advancement is tough considering they finish with Argentina. After finishing 0-0 against Iran, today's match is crucial. Coach Stephen Keshi admits his squad was disappointed after finishing scoreless against Iran and has all of the motivation entering a must-win game. Godfrey Oboabona is expected to play after suffering an ankle injury in the opening game, but his fitness is unknown right now. Nigeria's defense will be the big issue against Bosnia-Herzegovina. The team must hold off players like Pjanic who had a strong season with AS Roma.

Bosnia-Herzegovina is the favorite in this matchup simply because of their ability to hold their own against Argentina. Considering NIgeria could not score against one of the easier teams, they might be on the outside looking in of Group F when play ends. If they can manage at least a draw against Bosnia-Herzegovina and get a point against Argentina then they stand at chance.
