The Cleveland Cavaliers are coming into the offseason with big plans and a Kevin Love trade is not out of the picture since they have the first overall pick in the draft, but that deal likely would need Dion Waiters, Tristan Thompson, Anthony Bennett and Anderson Varejao to move and if the deal does not go though, the team will have to deal with Kyrie Irving trade rumors again as they decide between Joel Embiid and Andrew Wiggins with the number one pick.

According to ESPN.com, the Cavaliers are one team that is in the mix for the Kevin Love deal, as they have the number one overall pick and some assets that they can move in a trade. ESPN,.com writes that Love could be willing to sign an extension with the Cavaliers if they keep Irving and a deal with the Timberwolves likely would require moving the number one overall pick. Love has been one of most consistent players in the NBA over the past couple seasons and he will be a prize for whoever gets him.

ESPN.com lists up to eight teams that could be in the mix for Love and that includes the Boston Celtics, LA Lakers, NY Knicks, Houston Rockets, Phoenix Suns and Chicago Bulls. The Cavaliers have the number one overall pick for the second year in a row and this comes after they selected Anthony Bennett first overall last year. The team liked Bennett coming into the draft, but last season was a disaster and now they are hoping that he can bounce back and have a better year two. The Cavaliers have not been good since LeBron left and they are hoping that a big trade or a pick of someone like Joel Embiid can turn things around.

Last season the team went just 33-49 and missed the playoffs again and they ranked just 22nd in the league in scoring behind Irving. The team went just 7-9 against their division and was ranked 20th in assists per game, 16th in points allowed and 11th in rebounds per game. The Cavaliers now have received the number one overall pick four times since 2003 and for the third time in four years since picking Irvin from Duke. The team feels it has the chance to turn around with the young talent they have, but they will have to show Irving they are for real.

This summer there are some teams that could have a realistic shot at LeBron James even if it's unlikely, as the Chicago Bulls and Houston Rockets have strong teams that are a couple pieces away from being championship contenders. To have any chance of signing James though, those teams will have to make some big moves to clear space for his contract and that is why Miami is where he likely will end up.

The Bulls have Carlos Boozer to amnesty or trade along with Jimmy Butler and Taj Gibson and that would give James the chance to team up with Joakim Noah and Derrick Rose as the Bulls try to win a title. Yeah, the Michael Jordan comparisons wouldn't get crazy if that happened or anything.
