Jun 09, 2014 06:53 PM EDT

The LA Dodgers and Cincinnati Reds are playing on the MLB ESPN schedule on Monday night baseball and the game is live at 7 pm ET on WatchESPN and it comes from Great American Ball Park with a stream online as Yasiel Puig and Los Angeles hit the road and both of these NL teams will be looking to move up in their divisions.

The Dodgers come into the game 20-12 on the road this season and that is one of the better marks around baseball and the pitching matchup will be between Dan Haren and Tony Cingrani on Monday night for the series. This is the first matchup of the series and it comes after the Dodgers won over the Rockies in another division game and that saw Clayton Kershaw win that matchup and now they will go at it before Josh Beckett and Mike Leake pitch against each other on Tuesday night.

The Dodgers come into the game nine games back of the Giants in the division and that has been a tough one to keep up with for the team and they are looking to get back into the mix. The Dodgers are ranked in the top 10 in runs scored this season and 13th in batting average and the team is also 12th in on base and eighth in slugging percentage. The team has been very good on the mound, ranking seventh in ERA and sixth in quality starts and the team is also 12th in WHIP and 13th in BAA.

The Reds are behind the Brewers and Cardinals in the Central division and they have been off to a so-so start since making the playoffs last year. The team won over the Phillies and got a win from Homer Bailey and a save from Aroldis Chapman and now the team is playing the Dodgers. The Reds have been terrible on offense, ranking 28th in runs, 27th in batting average, 29th in on base percentage and 25th in slugging percentage. The team is ranked ninth in ERA, third in quality starts, sixth in WHIP and fifth in BAA this season and now they will try and bounce back against the Reds.
