Ivory Coast and El Salvador are playing on the World Cup Brazil friendly schedule on Wednesday night and the match from Toyota Stadium in Frisco starts at 9 pm ET and has Cote d'Ivoire and Yaya Toure looking to get things going ahead of the start of the WC and the match is streaming from beIN Sport and this should be a very good workout for the team before the tourney.

Toure comes in as the leading player for the team and he had a fantastic season this year with Manchester City as they won the English Premier League title and he will be key if the team wants to make a run this year. Toure and his brother defender Kolo Touré are the two main focuses coming into the World Cup and after losing in a friendly to Bosnia-Herzegovina, another World Cup team, they will try and shape things against a team that is not playing with Brazil.

Toure may be a bit hampered coming into this match and he could get some time off heading into the tournament, while Didier Drogba is another player to watch for the side. Salomon Kalou and Gervinho should get more playing time and Toure has some momentum after winning African Footballer of the Year out of the Republic of Ivory Coast. El Salvador should be an easy opponent, as they are dealing with a number of things heading into their schedule this year and while they will not play in the WC, they have some young players that can step up and they are coming in after a friendly with defending champions Spain.

Drogba comes in as one of the big players to watch and he scored 10 goals this season in Turkey and he added a goal in the last friendly against Bosnia and he will need to be at the top of his game for Ivory to make a run. The team is coming into the mix after making the World Cup previously back in 2006 and 2010 and they need Toure to play well through the duration. The group for Ivory Coast has Japan, Colombia and Greece and their first matchup will be against the Japanese and that comes on June 14.

The day before that, Cameroon and Mexico will play after Brazil and Croatia open things and then IC finishes with Colombia and Greece. The team has a good chance to get out of this group and the play of Drogba and Toure will be the main things to watch and if they can play well up front, the team should have a nice run into the knockouts.
