Jun 03, 2014 02:18 PM EDT

Switzerland and Peru are playing on the World Cup friendly schedule on Tuesday and the match is streaming online from Swisspor Arena and starts up at 2:30 pm ET ahead of the Brazil tournament and the Swiss are preparing for the WC, while Peru did not make it and they come in after a win in their last international matchup.

The Swiss come into the match after playing against Jamaica and getting that win and they are warming up now against Peru, a team that did not qualify for the World Cup and that means the Swiss side will have to make sure they play hard, as a defeat could be very rough heading into the World Cup. Peru comes into the match ready to be beaten, as they once were the 2011 Copa America third place team, but they did not make it into the Brazil tourney after finishing in seventh place and now Swiss manager Ottmar Hitzfeld has to make sure his team doesn't play down to the competition.

The Swiss have a tough schedule coming at the World Cup and like everyone else, getting out of the group stage will not be easy. The team has a group with Ecuador as well as France and Honduras and that is not an easy draw, especially with the French motivated to perform better than they did back in 2010 when they were a total disaster and imploded. The first match for the team comes from Estádio Nacional Mane Garrincha in Brasilia against Ecuador and then the team will play against France at Arena Fonte Nova in Salvador and then they will finish in Manaus with the Amazon game against Honduras at the Arena Amazonia and while that's a tough travel schedule, the Swiss could get out of that group.

No team has a schedule like the United States as they will have to travel more than anyone else in Brazil and that makes things tough, but it will be nearly impossible to get out of group g, as the US has to matchup with their coach's old team in Germany, the best player in the world in Cristiano Ronaldo when they play Portugal and against the team that eliminated them at the last two World Cups in Ghana. The Portugal match will be tough since that's the one in the Amazon, while Germany is the last match and that will be very tough after opening against Ghana.

Peru has now given up 14 goals across seven matches and has only won one of the last five and that gives the Swiss a chance to get things right ahead of the Cup. Peru ended up losing badly against England at Wembley and the English side is another team to watch heading into the World Cup, as they have players like Wayne Rooney and others looking to make up for the last Cup as well.
