US Olympic Trials Track and Field 2012: Lolo Jones Qualifies for London, Tim Tebow Rumors Add Intrigue

Lolo Jones is on her way back to the Olympics."

Lolo Jones is officially on her way to London for the 2012 Olympic Games.  She has locked in a spot on Team USA thanks to a 12:86 finish in the women's 100-meter hurdles at the U.S. Track & Field Trials this past weekend.

This will be Jones' second trip to the Olympics.  Jones finished in the less than desirable seventh spot during her race in Beijing.  Before she could begin to claw her way back for a second chance in 2012, she had to undergo spinal surgery.

But even with a secure spot on Team USA, Lolo's spot next to Tim Tebow remains in question.  Rumors (but likely mere suggestions) have circulated in recent weeks pairing the two openly Christian virgins together.

"Harder than training for the Olympics, harder than graduating from college has been trying to stay a virgin for marriage," Jones told HBO's Real Sports in a recent interview.

While her possible feel good story was likely to receiver some buzz as the games neared, Jones found herself becoming a house hold name after that comment.  Of course, comparisons to the former "Mile High Messiah" were bound to ensue.

Will she end up being the perfect untouched match for the world's most famous reserve player?

If you read it somewhere, don't necessarily believe it.  In regards to the New York media, Tebow joked, "They've been very accurate in their reporting. First, I was living in the city. Then I was in Hoboken -- and I've never even been to Hoboken. I think I've dated three or four different girls I've never met. But it's been interesting. And fun."
