LA Lakers Trade Rumors: Deron Williams, Luol Deng, Kyle Lowry, Lance Stephenson Options After Draft Lottery For Kobe Bryant Support?

The LA Lakers could be looking at some trade options now that they are set in the top 10 of the draft lottery and the team could look at sign and trades as names like Deron Williams, Luol Deng, Kyle Lowry, Lance Stephenson and Kevin Love could be in the mix to help supports Kobe Bryant as he comes back from an injury.

The Lakers had a terrible season and they are looking to turn it around as soon as possible and many see them as an option for Kevin Love. The team was awful last year and they are hoping that Bryant can come back healthy and if they pull off a trade for someone like Williams, it could change the fortune for the team next season and they will be looking at all types of deals they can make this offseason.

The draft doesn't usually see too many trades at the top, but this year could be different, as the Cavaliers have the top pick for the second straight season and Kevin Love is the big name on the trade market. On top of that, the draft class this year is top heavy and very deep and players like Andre Wiggins, Jabari Parker and Joel Embiid have the potential to be franchise cornerstones for years to come. Heading into the season many saw Wiggins as the presumptive number one pick and while that still may happen, players like Parker, Embiid and Julius Randle have also been mentioned as picks that could go number one.

This year players like  Jameer Nelson, Victor Oladipo, Larry Sanders, Thaddeus Young, Derrick Favors and Terrence Ross could come up in trade rumors for their teams after the draft. The draft lottery played out once again with the worst team in the league not getting the number one overall pick and now the Bucks must try and deal with losing out to the Cavaliers. Milwaukee has the number two pick and this year the draft is very deep meaning they will get a good player, but it must hurt the new owners to know a team with a 1.7 percent chance to win the lottery did over their team, who had a 25 percent chance. The Cavaliers selected Anthony Bennett last season and now players like Andrew Wiggins and Jabari Parker will be in the mix for the top pick.

The Bucks are guaranteed to get a good player at number two with Wiggins, Parker and Joel Embiid looking like the three best players and the team could also consider trading the pick. That move is very unlikely, but one of the teams in the top five could look to move, including the Magic or the Philadelphia 76ers, as they already have an extra top 10 pick after the trade with the New Orleans Pelicans for Nerlens Noel last year. The Bucks are not likely to trade out of that pick, but they could look at moving Larry Sanders or OJ Mayo for some relief and they could get back future picks in the deals and with new owners coming in that could be a move to make.

Victor Oladipo did not do much for the Magic as a rookie and they could look to make moves as well, as Jameer Nelson and Arron Afflalo have been mentioned in trade rumors for the last couple years. Last season Afflalo had a career best season and some playoff contenders could look at him as an option to snag as they head into next season. The Cavaliers could play themselves into the Kevin Love mix after getting the number one pick, but they likely will sit tight and take either Wiggins or Parker, who are considered to be the top players in the draft.

Like the NFL draft this season, the NBA draft is considered very talent heavy and deep and that means the top 10 picks all could be significant players. Past Wiggins and Parker are Embiid as well as Julius Randle, Aaron Gordon, Marcus Smart, Kyle Anderson and Nik Stauskas. Doug McDermott also could end up being a lottery pick and now that the draft order is set, teams will be looking at moves they can make to get better this season. The Sixers nearly traded Thaddeus Young last season and they could look to do the same this year if they find a deal they like and they come in with two top 10 picks this year.
