NBA Playoffs Standings 2014: Clippers and Thunder Tied 1-1 As Miami Heat Go For 2-0 Series Against Brooklyn Nets

May 08, 2014 03:29 PM EDT

The NBA playoffs standings has the LA Clippers and OKC Thunder tied at 1-1 in their series after the win by Kevin Durant and Oklahoma City on Wednesday, while the Thursday schedule has LeBron James and the Miami Heat going for a 2-0 series lead against the Brooklyn Nets and that could make things very tough for Deron Williams and company the rest of the way.

Russell Westbrook had a triple double for the Thunder and Kevin Durant had a great game and that evened up the series after LA took Game 1 with a great game from Chris Paul. Durant ended up scoring 32 points and he added 12 rebounds and nearly had a triple double himself, while Westbrook was excellent and he had 29 points with 10 assists and double digit rebounds and now the series is tied and looking like it will be a dog fight. JJ Redick led the Clippers with 18 points, while Paul added 11 assists and DeAndre Jordan had eight rebounds and now Game 3 of the series will be at the Staples Center and it is on Friday.

The Wednesday schedule also saw the Washington Wizards lose to the Indiana Pacers and now that series is tied 1-1 as it shifts to Washington. Roy Hibbert emerged from the shadows after scoring zero points and grabbing zero rebounds and he had 28 points and nine boards to lead the way for Indy. The team won by four and it was a low scoring game and that's the way they like it, while Marcin Gortat finished with 21 points and 11 rebounds, while John Wall had eight assists.

The Blazers and the Spurs play game 2 after San Antonio won the first game and Tony Parker is looking to continue his strong play for the Spurs. The Nets need to try and shut down LeBron James and the Big 3 and that will be tough and it comes after Kevin Garnett scores zero points in the first game.
