New York Yankees vs. Los Angeles Angels Live Stream: Watch Online MLB Baseball Streaming Game

May 06, 2014 10:04 PM EDT

The New York Yankees and Los Angeles Angels are playing at Angel Stadium of Anaheim and the game starts at 10:05 pm ET and comes after Joe Girardi got himself thrown out of the game on Monday night and now the Tuesday matchup has the Yanks looking to bounce back with Hiroki Kuroda and CJ Wilson dueling on the mound.

The Yankees have been playing very well this season and they are in first place in the AL East, but that could be slipping away a bit now that they are just one game over .500 with the loss to the Angels. The Yankees come into the game after getting beaten twice by the Mariners and Rays last week and now they are on the west coast and looking to get back on track and Girardi getting thrown out may light a fire under the team as they try and regroup.

The Yanks come into the game ranked 18th in runs and sixth in batting average and they are looking to get more going, as Girardi was thrown out last night with the bases loaded after a bad call and that is likely part of the frustration right now. The team is ranked 10th in slugging and 23rd in ERA and they are also 19th in quality starts and 17th in WHIP on the season and the staff is looking to get things right no Tuesday.

The Yankees have taken a hit recently in their starting pitching and with CC Sabathia not pitching like he usually does, there could be some panic in NY. The team is getting exactly what it expected from Masahiro Tanaka, but Sabathia has been hot and cold, while Michael Pineda is dealing with a suspension and is injured, while Ivan Nova is now out for the season after getting Tommy John surgery. The team will have Vidal Nuno on the mound on Wednesday night, but that looks to be a short term fix for now and David Phelps was also put into the rotation for the time being and he started the game on Monday.

The Angels are now over .500 and third in the AL west and they are tied in record with the Yankees and they are in the top five in runs at third and second in slugging percentage, while the team is also eighth in batting average and 10th in on base. The pitching has been up and down and they are fifth in BAA and 15th in ERA and they are looking to win two in a row against the Yankees.
