Cleveland Browns Rumors: Greg Little Traded After Sammy Watkins, Mike Evans Drafted? Josh Gordon Deal Denied as Oakland Raiders, New England Patriots Options

The Cleveland Browns have two first round picks to work with plus a large number of picks in the third and fourth rounds. They are the most set up team for this year's draft. In need of a lot of help, the team is projected to take a quarterback and a wide receiver in the first round. The Browns need a franchise star and with Josh Gordon leading the receiving rotation, they need another deep threat for help. But with one addition could come a release or trade of another player.

The Browns will draft at No. 5 overall and then again at No. 26. A quarterback is the likely grab with the first of the two picks. Cleveland has the chance to land everyone from Johnny Manziel to Blake Bortles to AJ McCarron. The wide receiver will come second, but with that addition could mean someone already on the roster does not see training camp.

According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, if the Browns draft a wide receiver in the first round like they are assumed to do, Greg Little will be on the trade block. Terry Pluto writes that Little spent most of last season defending his current roster spot and will have to do so once again when the team brings in a top rookie to help the rotation.

Little is coming off one of his worst statistical seasons in Cleveland. The wide receiver was supposed to run tandem with Gordon, but instead only put up 465 yards and two touchdowns. His best season came in his rookie year with 709 yards and two touchdowns. Little was a second-round draft pick and has higher expectations than what he is currently producing. That certainly does not bode well for his roster spot.

The Browns attempted to trade Little for most of last year during the trading period, but their asking price was too high for the numbers Little was giving up. With either Sammy Watkins or Mike Evans joining the team, a Little trade will be a priority once again. Several teams could make a jump for him if they do not like the options in later rounds. Everyone from the Oakland Raiders to the Atlanta Falcons have considered late-round wide receivers. The New England Patriots or Carolina Panthers could also be an option depending on their draft moves.

Little is probably worth nothing higher than a third-round pick. He will get the benefit of not having a real quarterback throwing to him over the past three years and he is still young and healthy to be an impact player for anyone in 2014. That just might not be with the Cleveland Browns.
