The Seattle Mariners and the NY Yankees were rained out on Wednesday and now on Thursday the teams play again at Yankee Stadium and the matchup starts at 7:05 pm ET from the Bronx and continues the return of Robinson Cano and he is back in New York for the first time and the fans booed him and had no class on Tuesday and now he gets another chance as the game will be streaming online from MLB.com.
The Mariners and Yankees played on Tuesday and Seattle won that game and now Felix Hernandez had his start pushed back because of the rain and Cuban Roenis Elias will get the start and he goes up against Hiroki Kuroda in the game. The Mariners have struggled, but the scored six runs against the Yanks and now are just three games under .500 and they are looking to get closer, as this will be the last game of the series and the makeup will be in June.
The Yankees are 15-11 and leading the AL East, while the Mariners are fourth in the AL West and Cano got the boo treatment from fans and they also chanted that he sold out, which is ridiculous coming from Yankee fans. Let's see, Brian McCann behind the plate and CC Sabathia on the mound, yeah, no one has ever sold out and signed to the Yankees. It seems like fans are bitter that they don't have Cano and that somehow it's his fault that the Yanks signed A-Rod to an idiotic deal and then couldn't deal with signing another one.
Cano was worth that money and with all these other players getting 200 mill, which should he suffer because of past Yankees decisions? Yankees fans are hypocrites here in this spot and clearly they are just like scorned lovers, watching their beloved player play for another team. Yeah, the Mariners are bad, but Cano seems happy and for the first time in his career he can have a beard and looks thrilled about it. Keep booing Yankees fans, Cano has over 200 million reasons not to care.
