Apr 29, 2014 03:25 PM EDT

The NBA playoffs standings has the Washington Wizards going for a 4-1 series win over the Chicago Bulls and as that goes down, the LA Clippers and Golden State Warriors will play in Game 5 at the Staples Center on Tuesday and it comes after Donald Sterling was banned for life from the league and he now can't have any hands on the franchise and he cannot go to games either and a change in ownership could be coming.

The Clippers had to play with some massive baggage against the Warriors in Game 4 and they lost in a bad performance and now they have some weight lifted after the ban for Game 5. The matchup starts up at 10:30 pm ET and comes streaming from TNT on TV and the matchup will be a crucial one for the Clips and the Warriors, as the winner of Game 5 goes on to win the series over 80 percent of the time.

The Clippers and Warriors will have Game 6 on Thursday and that will be back in Golden State and now the Clips can get into their heads about basketball and they can now play with some motivation after what happened. According to ESPN.com, Adam Silver announced that the Clippers owner has been banned for life from the league and that he will be asked to sell the team and on top of that, he was hit with a huge fine and now Silver and the league can move on a bit as they deal with the ramifications of that decision.

Chris Paul and Blake Griffin were front and center after the last game and Doc Rivers took a position on things as well and now the team can get back to playing just basketball. The team has the Game 5 matchup at Staples Center on the schedule and the other games on TV include the Washington Wizards looking to end their series against the Bulls, while the Memphis Grizzlies and the Thunder are also playing Game 5 and their series is tied up 2-2.

The Wizards have not been to the playoffs in years and now they are on the verge of winning the series and this game comes from the United Center after the Bulls lost two of the first games there in the series. John Wall has played well and now he has the chance to end the series and they will play the winners of the Hawks and Pacers series and that could be a great one as well. The Brooklyn Nets and Toronto Raptors winner will play the Miami Heat and they are playing on Wednesday on the schedule for Game 5 as they are also tied 2-2.

The Wizards series could have a Game 6 matchup on Thursday and the team is hoping to end things on Tuesday night, while the Blazers and Rockets can finish their series on Wednesday in Game 5 with Portland up 3-1. The Mavericks and Spurs have played a great series and now the teams are pushing to finish things off.
