The San Francisco Giants and Colorado Rockies have been off to good starts this season and they will matchup in an NL West division game on Wednesday at Coors Field and the baseball matchup will be streaming live from the MLB.com main website as Matt Cain and Tyler Chatwood face off in the pitching matchup starting at 3:10 pm ET.

The Rockies come into the game playing well and they are now second in the division after winning over the Giants and they got a home run from Nolan Arenado to get them over the hump. The two teams now face off in the series finale and the matchup comes before the Rockies play another divisional game series and that will be against the LA Dodgers and that will be in Los Angeles after having the SF series at home.

Matt Cain comes into the game pitching well but he is 0-3 on the season despite having a sub 3.00 ERA and he needs some run support and right now that isn't coming through for him. His last start was a loss and he threw seven innings and had no earned runs and Chatwood comes in at 1-0 and he pitched seven with no runs against the Phillies in his last start and got the win, while Cain got the loss after going against the Padres.

The Rockies come into the game hitting the ball very well and they are ranked first across the board in baseball in all the major offensive categories. The team is ranked first in runs, batting average, on base and slugging percentage and while they won't be able to keep this up all season, it's a great start for a team that had a losing record last year. The Rockies are trying to rebuild and it looks like it is getting off to a good start in 2014, although the pitching has been so-so ranking 19th in ERA and 18th in quality starts.

The Giants come in after the loss against the Rockies and they are third in the division behind the Rockies and are looking to make the playoffs after missing out the season after winning the World Series. The team starts an interleague series next against the Cleveland Indians and that will be at their home park and Tim Hudson will be on the mound. The team comes into the game ranked 18th in runs scored and they are also 26th in batting average and 24th in on base percentage. The pitching has been solid and ranks eighth in ERA and seventh in WHIP.
