The NFL schedule for 2014 comes out on Wednesday and the full slate of games for all 32 teams will be officially released on ESPN2 at 8 pm ET in a primetime presentation and one game that is very likely is that the Seattle Seahawks will be playing on September 4 when the football season kicks off and they also will have a Super Bowl rematch with the Denver Broncos this year.
The opponents for all 32 teams are already known and now the dates for those matchups will be set and that includes the matchups in London for next year, which has three games spread from September to November. The Miami Dolphins will be playing against the Oakland Raiders on September 28 before the Detroit Lions and Atlanta Falcons matchup at 9:30 am ET on October 26, with the last game being the Dallas Cowboys and Jacksonville Jaguars on November 9. The game between the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks comes after the Super Bowl back in MetLife Stadium and this time it will be at CenturyLink Field.
Some games are already set and includes division winners playing against each other, including the Indianapolis Colts hosting the Philadelphia Eagles after those teams made the playoffs last year, while San Francisco will visit the Broncos in Denver and the New England Patriots will play on the road against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. ESPN.com writes that this season will likely be the last one with just 12 playoff teams, as expansion looks like a forgone conclusion at this point within league circles.
ESPN will be broadcasting a playoff game for the first time along with the Pro Bowl this season and NBC also gained a playoff game for this year to broadcast. The Oakland Raiders have the toughest strength of schedule this year of any NFL team after they went 4-12 and part of that is due to the AFC West and the division they play this year, while the Indianapolis Colts have the lowest percentage.
