The Tampa Bay Lighting and Montreal Canadiens are playing live on the NHL playoffs schedule on Tuesday night and the matchup as TB fighting for their season, as the Canadiens are up 3-0 in the first round series and the game is streaming online from the Bell Centre in Quebec, Canada and will start up at 7 pm and will live stream from the NBC Sports Live Extra website.

Steven Stamkos is leading the Lightning in scoring and they are now on the verge of losing in the playoffs and this comes after the team traded away Martin St. Louis for Ryan Callahan in a move that was expected, but a tough one on both sides. The team has not been scoring enough and one of the main reasons this series as turned out the way it has is because Tampa did not have their starting goalie in the playoffs in Ben Bishop. The injury has put Anders Lindback as the main goalie ahead of Kristers Gudlevskis and now the team will try to stay alive in the playoffs.

Carey Price has played very well and he has wins in all three games and he has made the important saves when he has needed to, including a great save on a Stamkos shot that looked like a goal at one point in the game. The teams played on Sunday and that matchup gave Tampa Bay its best chance to win, as they almost had a 2-1 lead and then there was a goal waived off and that took some wind out of the sails and allowed the team from up north to come back.

Tampa Bay obviously has a very tough hill to climb being down 3-0, but it has happened before and the Philadelphia Flyers came back from being down 3-0 against the Boston Bruins back in 2010. The Canadiens are the worst team to try and do that against, as they are 31-0 when having a 3-0 lead and that means Price and the team will be on top of their games. The main players for Montreal in David Desharnais, Max Pacioretty and Thomas Vanek have only scored two goals, while less heralded players like Lars Eller and Rene Bourque have been scoring more consistently and now the team will try and end things on Tuesday night.

Montreal came into the playoffs at 21st in the league in scoring, but you wouldn't know it with the way things are going in this series. Price had the team eighth in goals against and their penalty kill has been fantastic. The Lighting were much better during the season, ranking ninth in scoring and 11th in goals against and now they will have to try their best to survive.
