The Oakland Raiders and Seattle Seahawks pulled a trade for Terrelle Pryor on Monday night, with the quarterback getting moved for a seventh round pick in the 2014 draft and it comes after the Raiders had been shopping Pryor during the offseason and it came as the San Francisco 49ers also were interested in making the move for Pyor.

The 24-year-old quarterback was previously taken in the supplemental draft by the Raiders and in his career he has started a number of games, including 11 last season when he passed for 1,798 yards, seven touchdowns and 11 interceptions. Pryor fits the same style that Russell Wilson has, as he is also a mobile quarterback and there was a good chance that he would have been released had the team not pulled off a trade. The Raiders may look at Johnny Manziel or Sammy Watkins if they are available at the number five pick in the draft, while Reggie McKenzie now has added another draft pick after trading away two for Matt Flynn and Matt Schaub.

The Seahawks obviously have Russell Wilson and they also have Tarvaris Jackson and BJ Daniels and that means one of those names likely will not be around next season, obviously not including Wilson. Pryor was looked at as an option to be the starter of the future for the Raiders, but he was up and down last season while Matt McGloin also got some starts. The Raiders now have Matt Schaub as their starting quarterback for this season after making a trade and he has been named the starter by head coach Dennis Allen and the team may look at Johnny Manziel or Blake Bortles in the draft.

UPDATE: The Raiders have decided to trade Terrelle Pryor to the Seattle Seahawks and reports say the San Francisco 49ers also were interested.

The Oakland Raiders are looking to trade Terrelle Pryor after the quarterback asked for a deal or his release following the acquisition of Matt Schaub and now the Philadelphia Eagles, Cleveland Browns, Buffalo Bills, Minnesota Vikings and Jacksonville Jaguars could be landing spots for the former starter heading into the NFL draft.

The Oakland Raiders have made an early splash in free agency and before the trade for Matt Schaub, the team was looking at Mark Sanchez, Michael Vick and Josh Freeman as the next targets at quarterback and Reggie McKenzie had hoped that one would take over as the starter in 2014 for Terrelle Pryor and Matt McGloin and now Schaub will do that for head coach Dennis Allen.

The Raiders have a top five pick in the draft and they could be in the mix for top prospects at quarterback even with the trade and names like Johnny Manziel, Teddy Bridgewater or Blake Bortles are options, but they also could use that pick on someone like Jadeveon Clowney, Jake Matthews or Greg Robinson. According to ESPN.com, the Raiders are targeting a number of players in the draft and on the market, including running backs in Maurice Jones-Drew and Andre Brown, as they could add depth behind Darren McFadden on the roster.
