The Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers start their NBA playoffs series on Saturday and the game starts up at 3:30 pm ET and will be on TV from ABC and has the Warriors visiting the Staples Center for the western conference matchup and both teams will be looking to get the early win and Game 1 of the series could be crucial for both sides as LA tries to avenge losing last year in the first round.

The Clippers come into the game as the highest scoring team in the NBA and the Warriors are also a very good offensive team and that could make this very exciting and both teams have battled this season and it will be tough on both sides. The Warriors have made some talk about Blake Griffin and while coach Doc Rivers has dismissed that talk, it could add some fuel to the fire heading into the series. Griffin led the team in scoring and he has been great this season and Klay Thompson and Steph Curry will be the main focus for the Warriors.

The Clippers are coming into the playoffs after losing to the Portland Trail Blazers in the final game of the season and they were ranked first in the league in scoring with 107 points per game, while they were 14th in points allowed. The team is third in assists per game behind Chris Paul and they were also 14th in rebounds per game and they are looking to make a run this season with Paul and Griffin and it comes after they were eliminated in the first round last year.

The Warriors won their final game of the season against the Denver Nuggets and they were 10th in scoring this season with 104 points per game and they also ranked there in points allowed. The stars will likely decide this series and Curry can take over with his scoring, while Griffin has the chance to be dominant with Andrew Bogut out. Jermaine O'Neal will start in his place and that is a downgrade at the position but the Warriors have plenty of talent and they have the chance to really give the Clippers a go in the series.

Curry led the team in scoring and he helped the team rank seventh in assists per game, while the team was fifth in rebounds per game. Having Bogut out could be huge for the Clippers and now the two teams matchup in the three and six series in the west, while other teams like the Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets and Spurs are in action this weekend.
