The St. Louis Cardinals and Milwaukee Brewers are playing live on the MLB schedule on Wednesday and the game from Miller Park starts up at 1:10 pm ET and has the two battling at the top of the NL Central, as the Brew Crew are one of the best teams in baseball to start the season and the game is streaming live from the MLB.com website stream.

The Cardinals come into the season after winning the division last year and now they have company, as the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Cincinnati Reds made the playoffs as well and now the Brewers appear to be much improved from last season. It could be a four team race for the division title this season and they will battle the Brewers now as well and the Cards next play the Washington Nationals on the road and they come into the game on Wednesday after winning the matchup on Tuesday night.

The team comes in after Shelby Miller got the win and now Joe Kelly will take the mound against Wily Peralta and that comes after he picked up the win for the Brewers in his last start on Friday against the Pirates. The Cardinals have started the season slow offensively and they will have Adam Wainwright pitching on Thursday in the game against the Nationals and they come into the game after the bats started heating up against the Brewers.

The Cardinals come into the game ranked 15th in runs scored this season and 20th in batting average and they are also 15th in on base and 20th in slugging percentage. The pitching has been stellar so far and they are in the top 10 in all major categories, including eighth in ERA and in the batting average allowed and they are in the top five in both quality starts and WHIP. The team has tons of young pitching, including Michael Wacha, Lance Lynn, Kelly and Miller behind Wainwright for one of the best rotations in the league.

The Brewers come into the game after losing to the Cardinals and they now will play another divisional series against the Pirates coming up. Edinson Volquez will get the start for the Pirates against Yovanni Gallardo for the Brewers and the Milwaukee has been pitching lights out to start the season. The team is ranked 15th in scoring and 13th in batting average as well as slugging and they are 25th in on base percentage. The team is ranked first in WHIP and ERA this season in the early goings and they are also third in batting average allowed.
