The Cleveland Browns once again have a top five draft pick and if Blake Bortles is gone by the time they come up, the team could look at a Kirk Cousins trade with the Washington Redskins and instead pick Jadeveon Clowney or Sammy Watkins over the other quarterbacks in Johnny Manziel and Teddy Bridgewater, who should be available at fourth overall in 2014.

The Browns have an interesting situation coming into the spring, as they are starting offseason workouts soon and they only have Brian Hoyer, who is coming off of major surgery, along with Alex Tanney, meaning they need to add another QB before the draft. The team could trade for Kirk Cousins, as ESPN.com reported that the Browns were interested in possibly exploring that move, but nothing serious came from that earlier in the offseason.

The Browns have the draft picks to make the deal, as they have 10 coming into the draft and they have three among the first 35 and that gives them the flexibility to make the move. The Browns are looking at quarterbacks in the draft and while Manziel, Blake Bortles and Teddy Bridgewater are consider the top names, the team could be looking at making a pick later on in the draft, since this year's class is deep. There will be some names later on the team could look at, including Aaron Murray, AJ McCarron, David Fales, Derek Carr and Zach Mettenberger and all of those could be names to look at for the Browns.

The team has a top four pick and they have been rumored to be looking at Blake Bortles as their top quarterback, but if he is drafted, Jadeveon Clowney and Sammy Watkins are the top options for the team. According to Pro Football Talk, AJ McCarron has worked out for the Browns and this comes after the team has looked at a number of other names heading into the draft. The number four pick is not an option for McCarron, but the team has two third round picks and a second round pick and he could be in the mix there depending on what the Browns decide to do.

The Washington Redskins could be interested in making a move since they don't have as many draft picks after trading for Robert Griffin and picking up something for Cousins could help this year. The Browns have money to spend still and that is why they were able to keep Alex Mack with their deal with the Jaguars and they also signed Donte Whitner and now could make another move for Cousins. The Redskins signed Colt McCoy and he could be in line to take over as the backup if Cousins moves. During his career, Cousins has started four games and has passed for  1,320 yards and eight touchdowns with 10 interceptions in his career.
