The MLB Standings through the first couple weeks of the season has some interesting division leaders, as the Milwaukee Brewers have the best record in the league and they are the hottest team heading into the back end of April, while the Detroit Tigers, Oakland Athletics, Atlanta Braves, LA Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays are leading their respective divisions.

The Tigers are leading over the Chicago White Sox, who have been off to a solid start compared to last season, while the Oakland Athletics are leading the Seattle Mariners in the west after winning at Safeco on Sunday. The Mariners have been off to a very good start compared to last season, while the Blue Jays, Tampa Bay Rays and New York Yankees are near the top of the AL East after the first couple weeks. The Angels and Texas Rangers are two games back in the division, while the Boston Red Sox and the Baltimore Orioles are in the bottom part of the east division.

The Tigers are coming in after going 4-1 at home and they are leading the White Sox, Minnesota Twins, Cleveland Indians and Kansas City Royals, while the Houston Astros are in the bottom of the west division in the AL. The National League has the Brewers as the best team in baseball after they won their ninth game in a row and they are leading the central over the St. Louis Cardinals, Pirates, Cincinnati Reds and Chicago Cubs.

The Braves are tops over the Washington Nationals, Phillies, NY Mets and Miami Marlins in the east, while the west has the Dodgers on top. LA is leading the San Francisco Giants, Colorado Rockies, San Diego Padres and Arizona Diamondbacks in the division.
