Tim Tebow has a job in TV, but he is still a free agent quarterback and some teams that could use the former Heisman winner include the Cleveland Browns, Oakland Raiders, Chicago Bears, Jacksonville Jaguars, Arizona Cardinals, Buffalo Bills and Minnesota Vikings and with the draft coming up, those teams could be looking to add a QB or two and while Tebow likely won't get a look, he deserves at least a tryout from someone.

The Tebow haters out there will always hate and the supporters will always support, but we are trying to take a measured approach here and while yes, it is very unlikely that any of those teams will even call Tebow, some would say that he could be a help to some of those teams in a capacity as a backup or a contributing player. Tebow likely would not leave his new TV job for something that isn't definite, but he said earlier in the year when he was hired by ESPN that he wanted to continue is attempts at an NFL career and heading into the summer, those are just some of the teams where he could find a place.

Tebow has been working out non-stop this offseason and according to ESPN analyst Trent Difler, he has been working on his throwing motion and his pocket presence and he has improved a great deal since he last was in the NFL. Tebow never got a fair shot after leaving the Broncos and in a sense he never got a fair shot there either, as the team used a perfect opportunity (and a totally justifiable one) to snag Peyton Manning and ditch Tebow to the Jets.

The New York move was a categorical mistake by Tebow and while reports say that the Jaguars could have been the team he went to, Tebow picked the bright lights of New York. That move doomed Tebow and also Mark Sanchez in a way and the whole circus that was created was unfairly blamed on Tebow. The Jets from day one had no idea how to use Tebow, talk about Tebow or prepare Tebow and it resulted in a complete mess. The team lied to the media, they lied to Tebow and when they actually put him on the field, it was usually in situations where he did not have a good chance to succeed.

The Jets showed how classless they are with the way they released Tebow, as they did it one early morning AFTER the NFL draft and AFTER most teams had already put together their quarterback situations through free agency. They lied to him and he never said ONE bad word about the situation while he was there and the way they released him totally screwed him from getting into a camp early. Sure, he signed with the Patriots and was fine there, but everyone knows that Bill Belichick only carries two QBs, so he never had a chance.

Yeah, the Broncos weren't perfect when he was their QB, but he led the team to the playoffs and went 7-1 over his first starts and that led the team to dump him to the Jets and we know how that turned out. The dude deserves at least a tryout by someone.
