Chicago White Sox vs. Colorado Rockies Live Stream: Watch Online MLB Streaming Baseball Game

Apr 09, 2014 02:57 PM EDT

The Chicago White Sox and Colorado Rockies were two of the worst teams in the MLB last season and now as they play their interleague series at Coors Field on Wednesday the two clubs are looking to keep things going offensively as the baseball season wears on and the matchup starts up at 3:10 pm ET and is streaming from the MLB.com website.

The Chicago White Sox missed the playoffs last season and it wasn't even close and one reason was due to their horrible offense, but so far this season they have been much better, putting up some great stats over the first week and a half. The team is ranked in the top three in all major offensive categories, including runs, batting average, on base and slugging percentage and while the pitching hasn't been perfect, it has been good enough and they already rank fourth in the majors in quality starts and with Chris Sale in the rotation, they have a Cy Young contender.

The team comes into the day after tagging the Rockies for 15 runs and that was one of their best performances of the season and they next will start a series back at home against the Cleveland Indians and they will have John Danks on the mound.  Jose Abreu and Avisail Garcia had two home runs each in the last game and that is some promising news, as is the eventual return of Gordon Beckham and that could help stabilize the lineup as well. The Rockies come into the game after getting hit hard and they have been playing well offensively too, as they rank in the top part of the league in nearly every category.

The team has played more games so that could be a bit skewed, but the Rockies lineup has been performing and they are first in runs with 50 and they are tops in batting average with a .306 clip and they also are first in on base and slugging percentage. The pitching has been knocked around, but they are scoring enough to keep up right now and they come in with a five plus ERA and while that may come down, the team is just hoping for some solid play the rest of the month.

The Rockies have missed the playoffs and they are looking to get back and they next play against the San Francisco Giants and that series will be on the road at AT&T Park and opens Friday. Jorge De La Rose will be on the mound and that is good news for the Rockies, as he is one of their best pitchers and the Giants have started off the season well so far.
