The NFL Draft is coming up for 2014 in May and the St. Louis Rams are being looked at as a team that could make a trade at the number two spot, with teams like the Miami Dolphins and Cleveland Browns options to move up and as that goes on, the Jacksonville Jaguars are hosting a number of players in Johnny Manziel, Khalil Mack and Derek Carr.

The Houston Texans will start things off with the number one overall pick in the draft and while many think that the team will go with a quarterback, there is a chance they could take Jadeveon Clowney and that would set the stage for some trades. The Rams have the second overall pick after making the trade with the Redskins with Robert Griffin III and they have the flexibility to make a move, as they have another first round draft pick on top of the number two selection. According to Pro Football Talk, Mack will be visiting with both the Rams and the Jaguars ahead of the draft and he is one player that has been moving up draft boards for scouts.

Mack comes out of Buffalo and he is considered the next best defensive player behind Clowney in the draft along with Anthony Barr and his visits with the Jaguars and Rams could mean he is sneaking into the top five. Mack has good speed and has the size to be a strong pass rusher in the league and he could be an option with the Rams, while some teams could look to trade up with St. Louis at number two to pick him, especially if the Jaguars look like they will take him at three.

The Texans, Jaguars and Cleveland Browns all could be looking at quarterbacks in the first four picks and if Houston goes with Johnny Manziel, Blake Bortles or Teddy Bridgewater, that could set off a flurry of moves by teams into the top five. Most expect the Texans to take a QB and that means Clowney should go within that top five and with Bortles also rising up boards, he could end up being the first name taken. Manziel is visiting with the Jags along with Derek Carr and this comes after the Minnesota Vikings expressed their interest in not drafting Manziel.

Mel Kiper put Khalil Mack as the number one pick in his latest mock draft and that came after the spot was taken over by Manziel and Clowney earlier. The Rams have a very interesting choice to make, as they have Sam Bradford coming off of a knee injury and that could get the team to pick another QB. The Rams have the most flexibility of anyone in the draft and the Browns are right there with them, as they have three picks among the first 35 selections along with other extra picks from deals last season and that means they could move up as well.

Mach had over 10 sacks last season and also put up 94 tackles and three picks and he could be a very interesting selection at number one. The Jaguars met with Carr and they like what he brings, as he has a strong arm, is accurate and he passed for 5082 yards with 50 touchdowns last season.
