Chicago Cubs vs. Pittsburgh Pirates Live Stream: Watch Online Streaming Baseball MLB Game Feed

Apr 03, 2014 12:26 PM EDT

The Chicago Cubs and Pittsburgh Pirates are playing live on the MLB schedule on Thursday and the baseball game feed comes live from PNC Park and has Pitt looking for a sweet and the game starts up at 12:35 pm ET and has the NL Central teams battling and the stream is from the MLB.com main website.

Here is a look as the St. Louis Cardinals and Cincinnati Reds will finish their three game set on Thursday and the MLB baseball game matchup comes at 12:35 pm ET from Great American Ball Park and has both teams looking to win the series and it will stream from the MLB.com website and has Lance Lynn and Homer Bailey battling on the mounds.

The Cardinals are coming into the season after making it to the World Series last year and now Bailey will get the chance to face off against the team after he signed an extension in the offseason for six years. The Reds made a big commitment to Bailey and he has two no hitters in his career and he comes in after going 2-2 against the Cards last season in four starts. The series has been a tight one on both sides for the first two games and they were both 1-0 games and came after the Cardinals won the first game and the Reds got the second after a Chris Heisey's walk-off single and now the rubber game will decide the winner of the series.

Cincinnati manager Bryan Price took over this season and he got his first win as the manager and so far the offense has been quiet for the entire division and both the Reds and Cardinals are hoping that continues. Bailey is coming into the season after starting over 30 games last year and he went 11-12 and put up a career best ERA and now he is locked up for the near future with the team. The 27-year-old is like a second ace for the team and now he gets the chance to get on the mound after being injured a bit in spring training and this comes as the Reds are hoping to make another run at the division title after getting the wild card last season in the NL with the Pirates.

The Cardinals are the favorites once again and the Pirates are expected to be good as well after they broke their two decades playoff streak last season. Jay Bruce comes into the game hitless and the Cardinals batters in Matt Carpenter, Jhonny Peralta, Matt Holliday and Allen Craig have not gotten the job done either and now the Reds will face off against Lynn, who has had some success against the team, winning three of his five starts last season. Lynn has over 30 wins over the past two seasons and now he gets the chance to face Cincy at the Great American Ballpark.

It's early, but already the Cardinals rank in the bottom of the league in runs and batting average and that obviously happens when you score just one run in two games. The team had one of the best offenses last year and that is expected to continue this season and should pick up as the games go on. The pitching obviously has been great for the same reasons and they have given up one run in two starts and they are in the top five already in quality starts with two over the first two games this season. The team plays the Pirates next, while the Reds have the NY Mets and that will be on the road at Citi Field.
