The Florida Gators and Pittsburgh Panthers are playing for a chance at the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament and the matchup is streaming online from the March Madness website at 12:15 pm and the game is like a home matchup for the Gators, as they are in the Amway Center in Orlando and they come in as the number one overall seed looking to advance.
Gators guard Scottie Wilbekin and center Patric Young will be key for the Gators and they come into things knowing that nothing is certain in the tournament, especially this year with teams like North Dakota State and SF Austin advancing with the 12 and five matchups and now the team comes into the game against a number nine seed after defeating Albany in the 16 and one matchup and while that upset has never happened, Florida was on guard and now they have the chance to get into the Sweet 16 and if they lose, even more brackets will get busted. The team comes in after getting 10 rebounds from young and four assists from Wilbekin, while Prather added 16 points and they come in averaging 71 per game and that will give a tough matchup for the Panthers.
The Gators went undefeated in the SEC this season and won the conference tournament to get their number one seed and now they are coming in for the south regional bracket and Pitt comes out of the ACC and they went 26-9 this season and had a very good year. The Gators are shooting 46 percent and they have been one of the best defensive teams in the nation, averaging 57 points allowed this season to rank third in the country and they also are averaging seven steals per game.
