Pittsburgh and Colorado are playing live on the NCAA Tournament schedule on Thursday and the second round game is streaming live at 1:40 pm ET from TBS on TV and the matchup with the Panthers and the Buffaloes will be from the Amway Center in Orlando as the March Madness tourney plays on.

The Panthers come into the game after a loss against Virginia in the ACC tournament and now they will look to pull an upset in the nine eight game as they matchup with the Buffaloes. Ptt comes into the game after that close loss against the Cavaliers and now they come in with a 25-9 record overall and they went 11-7 in the ACC last season and they matchup with a team with a similar record and the Buffaloes will be looking to get past Pitt and into the next round of the tournament.

Pitt comes into the game averaging over 72 points per game and they have been shooting the ball very well, going for over 46 percent this season to rank in the top 100 in the nation. The team is ranked 21st in the nation in assists per game and Talib Zanna and Lamar Patterson have been the two biggest reasons for the success of the team this season and they led the way against Virginia in that ACC tournament game loss. Zanna had nine boards in that game and Patterson added 15 points as the leading scorer and now the Panthers will rely on those two players as they try to get past the Buffaloes into the next round.

Patterson led the team in scoring and assists this season and he shot nearly 45 percent from the field and was very solid from three point range at about 40 percent. Patterson was also second in rebounding and first in assists with five boards and four assists per game and he also added over a steal per game and he will be key for the Panthers on Thursday. Zanna was tops in rebounding during the season with nearly nine per game and five of those were defensive boards on average and he also was second in scoring with 12 points per game and he shot nearly 58 percent from the field overall.

Pitt comes into the tourney after winning three in a row and one of those was against North Carolina and while the team struggled at times this season, they started off on a hot streak and they hope to finish the same way. The defense ranked 22nd in the league and Jamie Dixon's team allowed just 62 points and they matchup with a Colorado team that scored 70 per game and that should make this eight nine matchup a good one. The Buffs lost to Arizona in the Pac-12 tournament and now the Wildcats come into March Madness as a number one seed.
