Colorado and the Arizona Wildcats are playing live on Friday and the game for the Pac-12 Conference Tournament semifinals comes from the Pac-12 Network and will be streaming online from the channel and it comes at 9 pm from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and has the team trying to wrap up the tournament as the best in the conference after being ranked fourth in the nation coming in.

The Wildcats have been one of the best teams in the nation and they are fourth overall in the top 25 rankings and with a tournament win here, they could wrap up a number one seed and that would be huge for the team and their title aspirations. The Wildcats have two great players in Aaron Gordon and Nick Johnson and they won the freshman of the year in the PAC-12 and the conference player of the year and that gives the Wildcats a nice boost as they take on Colorado, who had a nice season in the conference and should not be overlooked by the Cats.

The team comes into the game at 29-3 on the season and they are 15-3 in the Pac-12 and the Buffaloes went 23-10 overall and 10-8 in the conference and now the Wildcats are looking to keep things rolling after they totally demolished Utah and they allowed just 39 points in that game. The team is averaging over 70 per contest this season and they are in the top 50 in the nation in rebounding, assists per game and field goal percentage, as they are shooting just under 47 percent as a team this season.

The defense is one reason why the team has been so good all year and they are ranked fourth overall in the nation with less than 60 points per game and they are 33rd in the nation in rebounds allowed and that defense may propel the team to the conference title, as they are the only ranked team left and they have been killing it all season. The team finished three game sup on UCLA and they won the regular season title and they won five of their last six games, only losing to Origin on the road and now they have the chance to get through the tournament and lock up a number one seed, especially with Villanova losing and they were ranked third.

Johnson has been great all season and he is leading the team in scoring with 16 points per game and he is shooting over 44 percent from the field, while Gordon is second on the team in scoring with 12 points and he is shooting nearly 49 percent this season. Johnson is second on the team in assists and Gordon is first in rebounding with eight per game and those two players will be the main focus and likely the reason the team wins the tournament or not.
