The Duke Blue Devils and Clemson are playing on Friday in the ACC conference tournament quarterfinals and the game is coming live online and on TV from ESPN and the WatchESPN website as Duke tries to move to the semis in the Atlantic Coast Conference tourney and they are one of the top teams in the nation and things start for Jabari Parker up at 9 pm ET.

The matchup comes after the team ended the season with a win against North Carolina and the tem finished third in the conference and got a bye into the quarterfinals after going 13-5 and finishing behind Virginia and Syracuse. Duke has been one of the most consistent teams in the nation and a strong showing here in the tournament could set the team up for one of the top seeds in the NCAA tournament and while they may not get a one seed, they could put themselves in good position with a number two or three. The team should have ease with Clemson, who went 10-8 this season in the ACC.

Parker has been as good as advertised as a freshman and he is leading the team with Rodney Hood in scoring and he is averaging nearly 20 points per game this season and is shooting nearly 49 percent. Parker has also been leading the team in rebounding with nine per game and he has given the team a consistent threat all over the floor, while Quinn Cook is leading in assists and Rodney Hood has been dropping nearly 17 per game and should be a big factor in the game on Friday along with Parker and Rasheed Sulaimon.

The last game for Duke against rival North Carolina came at home at Cameron Indoor and that was after a loss on the road against UNC in Chapel Hill and now they come in after Cook had six assists in that game and Parker was excellent with 30 points and 11 rebounds and if he opts to leave for the NBA draft, he is leaving behind some nice highlights. The team is averaging nearly 80 points per game and that makes them hard to stop and that puts them in the top 25 of the nation. The Blue Devils are 51st in assists per game and they are shooting nearly 47 percent overall as a team this season.

The team lost against Wake Forest on the road near the end of the season, but they got a great wins against Syracuse after losing to them before when they were undefeated and they also had wins over Michigan and Pittsburgh this season as well. Virginia won the ACC on the strength of their defense and Syracuse was very good on both ends of the floor and there is a good chance that Duke, North Carolina and those two teams will be the last four left in the ACC tournament. Clemson comes in after a win against Georgia Tech and they will be looking to pull the upset against Duke on Friday in Greensboro.
