Dayton comes in averaging over 70 points per game and that ranks in the top 100 in the nation, while the team is shooting over 46 percent from the field this season as well. Dayton has the chance to move on after this quarterfinals matchup and the winner of the tournament gets an automatic bid into the NCAA tourney. Dayton is allowing 67 points per game and they will try and use that to their advantage on Friday.
St. Joe's comes into the game after losing their last two games and that followed a six game winning streak and now the team has the chance to make it three on Dayton and this will be a good test for both sides. The team is scoring over 70 points per game and they are 43rd in the nation in shooting with 47 percent from the field and the defense has been solid as well, ranking in the top 50 in rebounds allowed and they are also giving up just 67 points per game. The matchup will be tough for both sides and St. Joe's will be looking to advance past Dayton for the semis in the Atlantic 10 conference tournament for a chance at getting to the finals and getting an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
