Duke and Wake Forest are playing in an ACC college basketball matchup on Wednesday night and the game on ESPN will be streaming live online from WatchESPN from Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum and comes ahead of the matchup with North Carolina and the game starts up at 7 pm ET with Jabari Parker.

Duke has been one of the best teams in the nation this season and they could put themselves in line for a number one seed in the NCAA tournament with a strong finish and that means a win on the road against Wake Forest. Duke has been up and down at times this season in the top 25, but they are back where they started among the top five ranked teams and now the Blue Devils have the chance to head into the matchup with the Tar Heels at 13-4 in the conference with a win against the Demon Deacons.

Parker has been fantastic as a freshman for the team and he comes in leading in scoring and rebounding and he has been very solid on both ends of the floor as well. Parker has been averaging nearly 19 points and he is tops with almost nine rebounds per game on the team and along with Rodney Hood he has given Duke a formidable top line of players. Quinn Cook has been very good as well and he is tops on the team in assists, while Hood is second with 16 points per game and he is shooting 47 percent along with Parker.

Virginia won the ACC regular season title after their amazing run this season and now they are 16-1 overall in the conference and they are ranked number five at 25-5 and they clinched with a win over Syracuse and now the Orange, North Carolina and Duke are lining up to finish next. Right now Cuse is in the second position with North Carolina at three games back, but Duke can jump in with a win against Wake Forest and then a victory over North Carolina and that game will be at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Duke comes into the game after a win against Virginia Tech and that came after 21 points from hood and a solid 12 rebounds from Parker and now those two will be key as the team hits the road for Wake Forest. The team has won four of the past five games since their matchup with UNC was postponed and now they will face that team at the end of the season after losing on the road in that makeup. The team has lost to Syracuse as well this season and that was a quality loss if there is one, as it was in overtime when Cuse was undefeated.

Duke comes into the game scoring nearly 80 points per game and that is ranked in the top 25, while the team is shooting over 46 percent from the field this season overall. The team is allowing 66 points per game and now Duke faces off against a team that is scoring just 69 and allowing 70 per contest and they come into the game after a loss against Boston College and they next will play against Miami.
