Baltimore Orioles vs. NY Yankees Live Stream: Watch Online MLB Streaming Game

Mar 04, 2014 06:58 PM EST

The Baltimore Orioles and New York Yankees are playing a spring training game on Tuesday night and the AL East Grapefruit League matchup will be streaming online from the MLB website for live streams and this comes as the Yanks and O's are getting ready to battle for the division and the game starts up at 7:05 pm ET from Steinbrenner Field.

The Yankees are coming into the 2014 season with very high expectations after missing the playoffs last year and they spent a ton of money this year to get back to the playoffs. The team lost Robinson Cano to the Mariners and that will hurt, but adding Masahiro Tanaka, Brian McCann, Jacoby Ellsbury and Carlos Beltran is a nice way to get over that and while they are an old team, they are an experienced one that is expecting to win. The team had Cano lead the team in runs, RBIs, batting average, on base percentage and home runs, but now they will have to find other players to fill that void.

Hiroki Kuroda and CC Sabathia return as the top pitchers and Tanaka will fall in behind them in the rotation this season. Sabathia was best on the team in nearly everything but ERA and now he is expected to have a bounce back year after being mediocre at times last season. The Yankees need him to be an ace and this comes as Derek Jeter made the announcement that it will be his final season, making it two years in a row with Mariano Rivera that a Yankees player will be having a bit of a farewell tour.

The Yankees are 4-2 already to start the spring season and they next play against the Tampa Bay Rays and they come into the game after a win against the Nationals. The team was 16th in runs last season and had their worst record in years and now they are looking to get back to the playoffs and that means likely going through rival and World Series champions in the Boston Red Sox as well.

The Orioles have improved greatly over the past few years and they added a number of names in the offseason, including Nelson Cruz and Ubaldo Jimenez and now they come back with a top five ranked offense. The team was fifth in the league in runs last season and third in slugging percentage and a large part of that was due to the amazing season by Chris Davis and now he won't be able to sneak up on anyone. The team has tons of young talent and Adam Jones has continued to develop into one of the best outfielders in the game.
