Manchester City and Sunderland are playing in the Capital One Cup final at Wembley Stadium and comes as the Premier League schedule plays out and things start up at 9:00 am ET and is streaming online from beIn Sport and comes as Man City is at the top part of the EPL standings.

Manchester City comes into the match after a win against Stoke City in the Premier League and this final for the Capital One Cup forced a match against Manchester United to get moved. The team lost at Etihad Stadium against Barcelona in the Champions League round of 16 and before that they won against Chelsea in the FA Cup round 5 match and now they have a tough stretch coming up, including games against Liverpool at the Anfield and at Old Trafford against Manchester United. The team finishes the Premier League schedule against Crystal Palace, Everton and West Ham United and now they have the chance to snag a trophy with a win on Sunday.

Manchester City has been in the mix all season in the Premier League and when they get back on the schedule they will be within striking distance among the top teams and after losing Sergio Aguero to an injury for a month he is set to return and the timing is perfect. Man City has been in a bit of a funk offensively and Yaya Toure said the return of Aguero could be exactly what the team needs and Toure himself has been doing well to make up for it, scoring 26 goals this season. Manchester City is hoping to put last year's loss at Wembley in the final to Wigan behind them with a win on Sunday and Toure said the return of Aguero should be able to open things up offensively.

Samir Nasri knows what it's like in the Capital One Cup finals and this year against Sunderland he will get the chance to put some bad results behind him, as he was on Arsenal back in 2011 when they lost to Birmingham, while he was also on the team last year when Wigan topped Man City. The team needs a boost on all accounts and Alvaro Negredo will have the chance to step up and he has been on a cold streak, as he has not scored in the past five matches and he could be helped along by the return of Aguero as well.

Negredo may have some luck, as the last time he scored was in this competition against West Ham and he has also dealt with an injury and was out for two games and now he will be back on the line with Aguero. Sunderland comes in after a loss against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium and before that the team got a win against Southampton at home and heading down the schedule they have matches with Liverpool at the Anfield and also against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. The team finishes with matches against Cardiff City at home, Manchester United at Old Trafford and then they end the year with a home matchup against Swansea City on the EPL schedule.
