The Pittsburgh Steelers are coming into a very important offseason after just missing the playoffs again and the team could be very active on draft day, as Mike Evans, Marqise Lee and Ha Ha Clinton-Dix could be targets and the team could look into trading up to get one of them, while names like Eric Decker and Julian Edelman are potential free agent options.

The Steelers don't usually break the bank for free agents, but if those players come in lower than expected on contract demands, the team could be in the mix with Mike Wallace leaving last year and Emmanuel Sanders a free agent this season. According to ESPN.com, due to those departures, some think that the Steelers will go wide receiver in the draft and picking at number 15 could put them in position to do that. The draft overall is deep this season, but so is the position and past Evans and Lee there are a number of players that could go in the first round, including Kelvin Benjamin, Allen Robinson and Odell Beckham, but many feel that Evans is the best of the bunch.

He showed great speed at the combine and finished last season with 69 catches for nearly 1,400 yards and 12 touchdowns and now he could be the first one off the board in May. There are a number of teams that are targeting Evans and after he ran a 4.53 forty yard dash, he has scouts salivating. The Steelers could jump up to get him or wait on someone like Lee, but Evans could be a once in a lifetime type draft player.

Safety has also been mentioned as a point of interest for the Steelers and that puts Clinton-Dix along with Calvin Pryor as possible targets. Troy Polamalu and Ryan Clark are veterans and as they get older the team could use to bring in some young talent. The team went 8-8 last season and finished ranked 21st in the league in rushing yards allowed per game and they have up nearly 230 yards in the air per game.
