The Golden State Warriors came into the season with high expectations after winning a playoffs series last year and now with the team eighth in the west, trades could be coming at the deadline for Andre Iguodala, Klay Thompson, David Lee and Harrison Barnes, as reports have everyone but Stephen Curry and Andrew Bogut available and the team could look at Kirk Hinrich or Ander Miller as potential targets.

The Warriors are just a couple games up on Memphis for the final spot in the western conference and after getting off to a nice start this season, the team has faltered a bit and now they are 30-21 and looking at making improvements as they push into the All-Star break. According to USA Today, the Warriors may end up being one of the aggressive teams at the deadline, as they could deal one of their many talented players for a boost at other positions, bringing in players like Kirk Hinrich or Ander Miller, as both have been mentioned extensively in trade rumors this season so far.

The Warriors have dropped from first place to sixth over the past week and according to the report, the team is willing to listen to deals involving anyone as long as it isn't Curry or Bogut, the two franchise players the team wants to build around. The Warriors were in the mix for Dwight Howard this past offseason as they try and make a run in the west and now that they are in eighth place, this could be a way to try and get a boost in the far tougher conference in the NBA.

Bogut is leading the team in rebounding with double figures, while Curry is tops in scoring with 24.6 points per game and he is a player they likely would never give up. The team has been solid all-around this season, ranking 11th in points scored and points against in the NBA and while they are ranked third in rebounds per game, it hasn't been enough to overtake some of the top teams in the west and some of the lesser ones, including the Phoenix Suns, who are in better playoff position right now.

Hinrich was mentioned earlier in the season as an option for the Warriors after the Bulls traded Luol Deng to the Cavaliers and as the deadline gets closer, he will be a main option for teams looking for a guard. The Bulls are in a slight rebuild with Derrick Rose out and trading Hinrich would not mean the end of the season and with him being a solid shooter, he could be a great depth and bench option for the Warriors. The team has also been linked to Denver Nuggets point guard Andre Miller, who had a blow up with head coach Brian Shaw and now looks to be on his way out of town as well.

The Warriors surprised everyone last season by beating the Nuggets and playing the San Antonio Sours hard and now they are looking to ensure they make the playoffs again and this season it will be even tougher in the western conference the way things are shaping up.
