The Miami Heat aren't often mentioned in trade rumors before the deadline, but after the Indiana Pacers signed free agent big man Andrew Bynum, the team may be looking to add some size and scoring themselves and names like Chris Kaman and Evan Turner have come up as possible options for LeBron James to add as Miami pushes towards a third straight championship.

The Heat have been accused of coasting at times this season, but the team has picked up its game lately, especially James and now they are looking as strong as they have been, even while dealing with Dwyane Wade's knee injuries. According to Pro Basketball Talk, James said that the team was not worried that the Pacers added Andrew Bynum, but that doesn't mean that behind the scenes moves aren't happening and one could be with the Lakers for Kaman. Turner has been mentioned as a possible target since he has an expiring contract and the Sixers aren't planning on keeping him, but Miami doesn't have what the Sixers are reportedly looking for, although he would be some nice insurance for Wade.

According to ESPN.com, Kaman is not happy with his role with the Lakers and with Los Angeles fading back in the west, they could be sellers at the deadline and Kaman is a name that could move. Miami signed Greg Oden but he is an unknown quantity at this point and Kaman could provide solid minutes down the stretch and depth up front in the playoffs. Kaman voiced his displeasure recently at his role with the team and he is averaging 8.1 points and 5.4 rebounds in 16.7 minutes per game, but he has only appeared in 23 games this season.

The Lakers have been dealing with a number of injuries and with Miami looking ahead to a matchup with the Pacers, they will need some big bodies to play against Roy Hibbert, David West and Luis Scola and the team now has added Bynum to the mix. Kaman is making $3.2 million this season and while the Lakers haven't been shopping him, he is sure to be a target at the deadline. Miami is ranked 30th in the league in rebounds per game and that is an area they will be looking to shore up heading into the playoffs.
