NFL Rumors: Richard Sherman, Darrelle Revis Not Feuding, Seattle Seahawks CB Praises Buccaneers Star, Patrick Peterson, Joe Haden After Slamming Media Reports

Darrelle Revis and Richard Sherman have both declared themselves the best cornerbacks in the NFL. After Sherman's rant heard around the world, Revis spoke out saying he was disappointed in the Seattle Seahawks star's words, claiming he does not show enough respect for others in the game. Sherman heard those words loud and clear and insists there is no bad blood between the two players.

"I feel like I'm the best," Revis said, via NFL.com. "Deion Sanders probably feels like he is the best. Everybody has their own personal opinion. And that is how you go with it and I think that is what makes it fun. (Sherman is) saying he's the best. I'm saying I'm the best, Joe Haden thinks he's the best. ...You can go by numbers, you can go by the ball not being thrown to your side so many times, there are so many variables in it. But at the same time, we are all talented players."

Revis went on to say that Sherman was selfish in his post-game rant, taking the attention away from his teammates and trying to put it on himself. While speaking at Super Bowl Media Day, Sherman said he was spoken with Revis since his comments during the Pro Bowl and the two have no problems with one another.

"We've had a few conversations," Sherman said, via NFL.com. "He's a great guy and we squashed all the nonsense. As a corner, at the cornerback position, I think every one of them out there is going to say that they're the best, and that's the way you've got to play the position. I'm sure every corner out there that's playing good football right now - Joe Haden, Patrick Peterson, Darrelle Revis, Aqib Talib, Alterraun Verner - feels like they're the best corner in football. In order to play this game at the highest level, that's how you've got to feel. That's the confidence you feel. Now they may not go out and say it out loud and proclaim it like I do, but I'm 100 percent sure they feel that way. They play some great football and they deserve to feel that way as well."

Sherman believes much of the perceived feud between he and Revis was drawn up by the media. Two great cornerbacks, often outspoken, should hate each other right? Sherman believes the exact opposite, noting the two are good friends and will stay that way.

"I think one of those things, just like a lot of other things, is a lot of media fabrication more than anything," Sherman said. "People make it more of a big deal than it really is. Guys have conversations off the field and are good friends. People would be surprised. They think they're really mortal enemies, and it's really not like that."
