The NBA All-Star 2014 game reserves were announced on Thursday during the schedule on TNT and here is a look at the east and west roster with snubs and surprises and some of the names that made the team includes Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Damian Lillard, Paul Millsap, Chris Bosh, John Wall, Roy Hibbert and James Harden.

The All-Star game will be in New Orleans this year in February and after the starting rosters were named last week, the reserves were revealed on Thursday night and the Eastern conference saw a number of teams represented, with all seven players taken from different teams, including Chris Bosh from the Miami Heat and Joakim Noah from the Chicago Bulls, while Roy Hibbert of the Pacers and DeMar DeRozan of the Toronto Raptors also made the squad.

John Wall made his first All-Star game alongside Joe Johnson of the Brooklyn Nets, while Paul Millsap of the Hawks rounds out the east reserves, leaving names like Arron Afflalo, Kyle Lowry and Lance Stephenson off the roster after many felt those players were deserving. There are always a number of snubs and surprises and this season is no different with a player like Stephenson, who has been playing very well for the Pacers and averaging 14.2 points, 7.1 rebounds and 5.3 assists. Stephenson and other Pacers don't put up as many flashy numbers as other players, but they are well represented with Paul George and Hibbert.

In the western conference, Chris Paul of the Clippers and Damian Lillard of the Blazers made it in with Tony Parker, while James Harden joined his teammate Dwight Howard as reserve selections as well. The Blazers and Rockets each got two players with Portland having Lillard and LaMarcus Aldridge voted onto the team, while the reserves were finished out by Dirk Nowitzki, who has been having a great season under the radar as usual.

Some of the snubs in the west includes Tim Duncan, DeMarcus Cousins as well as Goran Dragic and luckily for one of the players on the fringe, they will get a nod for Kobe Bryant and now the west and east teams are finished out for the All-Star game in 2014. Andre Drummond is a snub from the eastern conference, while Cousins has been excellent for a bad Kings team 22.6 points and 11.6 rebounds per game. Davis averages 20 points per game this season and shooting over 50 percent from the floor and it would have been nice to get a Pelicans player on their home floor for the game.
