The NFL playoffs standings now has just two teams left with the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos in the Super Bowl matchup and now the NFC and AFC champions will be playing at MetLife Stadium in February for the NFL championship and comes as both teams were number one seeds in the postseason.

The Seahawks had the number one defense in the leagues and the Broncos are the top ranked offense and that puts those two teams against each other for the first time since the Bills and Giants did over two decades ago. The teams are top ranked in yards gained and allowed on offense and defense for the Broncos and the Seahawks and Peyton Manning comes into the game looking for his second championship and according to ESPN.com, he is just the fourth quarterback to make the game after leading the league in passing yards and touchdown passes and he also would be the first player to win Super Bowls starting at quarterback for different teams.

Manning and the Broncos dominated the Patriots and the Seahawks were able to take down the San Francisco 49ers in an intense game and it ended after Richard Sherman tipped a pass that was intercepted to seal things for Seattle. The Niners were rallying late, but it wasn't enough for the team to overcome the home crowd in Seattle and now the Seahawks are heading to MetLife Stadium for the second time. The Broncos and the Seahawks both won at the stadium against Eli Manning and the Giants and now they will get the return visit.

Both teams comes in 15-3 on the season now and the teams are in the Super Bowl after a long and hard fought year on the schedule. The Broncos are the early favorites in the game and it's the first time since 2005 for the Seahawks getting to the Super Bowl, while it's been longer for the Broncos. Marshawn Lynch has been key for the Seahawks and while he had a fumble in the game on Sunday, his teammates bailed him out and the Seahawks won and now Russell Wilson is in the big game. Wilson is the sixth quarterback to make it to the championship in his first or second season and now he will get the chance to win it against one of the best quarterbacks ever.

The Super Bowl is on February 2 from MetLife Stadium in New Jersey and the two weeks leading up to the game will have many events in the city and the surrounding areas and the game has the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks facing off.
