The Super Bowl in 2014 is on the TV schedule on FOX and the SB XLVIII at MetLife Stadium is on February 2 and the NFC Championship will be live on TV starting up past 6 pm and in the AFC and NFC championship games are the Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots, San Francisco 49ers and the Denver Broncos and this will be the first ever modern cold weather city outdoor Super Bowl game.

The Giants and Jets are the host teams and the playoffs has brought just four teams to the end with arguably the four best in the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos in the AFC with Peyton Manning and Tom Brady, while in the NFC is has the Seahawks and Niners with Russell Wilson and Colin Kaepernick. The NFL knew it was taking a risk when it made the Super Bowl in New York in February and while they are ready for the weather to be bad, they are also hoping there isn't any snow. There is a good chance the weather will be cold, but all four teams have dealt with the elements this season, including the Niners winning in Green Bay in the wild card round and the Seahawks winning at home in the rain against the Saints. Manning and Brady are facing off for the fourth time in the playoffs and legacies are on the line and there will be a two week break after the Sunday championship games.

Joe Buck and Troy Aikman will be announcing the Super Bowl once again and this comes after the coverage was from CBS last season from New Orleans and that game was memorable for the blackout that occurred during the game The Baltimore Ravens won over the San Francisco 49ers and now the Niners have the chance to go back to the championship game again for the second year in a row with Kaepernick at quarterback and this should be a very interesting matchup for both teams. The Ravens missed the playoffs this season and the Seahawks are considered the favorites from early in the year with the Broncos.

The Patriots are in position to get back to the Super Bowl after losing the last two times they made it to the game against the New York Giants and Eli Manning took those two championships from Tom Brady and now he has the chance to get back against Manning. The Broncos have the chance to get to the Super Bowl with Manning and it would be his first time since losing to the Saints and the Broncos are coming in getting the chance to get back for the first time in years.
