The Los Angeles Clippers and the Indiana Pacers are playing in one of the top matchups on Saturday night on the NBA schedule and the game is on NBATV and streaming online and the matchup has two of the top teams in the league with Indiana coming in as the best in the east and the Clippers first in the western conference and both happen to be coming into the game at Bankers Life Fieldhouse after wins against the Knicks.
The Clippers have dealt with injuries to Chris Paul this season and Blake Griffin has been stepping up and he led the team with 32 points against the Knicks in the win at Madison Square Garden on Friday night and now Los Angeles plays another game on the road back to back against an east team on Saturday. The team plays against the Detroit Pistons on Monday and they beat the Knicks in fairly easy fashion and they are now 28-13 on the season and DeAndre Jordan finished with 16 rebounds in the game and he will be a main focus for Roy Hibbert in the middle of the floor.
The Clippers come in ranked third in the league in scoring with 106 points per game on average and the Pacers are top ranked in defense and that makes this a tough matchup and they are number one in the east with a 31-7 record and they have been playing well at home. Both teams are coming into the game after wins against the Knicks and Lance Stephenson led the way back against his hometown team with 28 points and Luis Scola had seven rebounds while George Hill had five assists. The Pacers play against the Golden State Warriors on Monday night in California after playing against the Clippers and they come into the game allowing less than 90 points per game this season.
