Denver Broncos Playoffs Schedule: TV Start Time and Channel For San Diego Chargers Game Sunday

Jan 12, 2014 01:59 PM EST

The Denver Broncos are coming into their divisional playoff game against the San Diego Chargers looking to get past this round after losing last season to the Baltimore Ravens and this could be one of the last chances for Peyton Manning to win the Super Bowl and a win would set up an AFC championship game with Tom Brady and the New England Patriots and the game Sunday starts on CBS at 4:40 pm ET from Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

Manning comes in after setting numerous records this season passing the ball after he put up insane numbers of 55 touchdowns and over 5,000 passing yards and now he is looking to add a Super Bowl championship to that resume as well. The Broncos come into the playoffs as the best offensive team in the league and now there's the looming showdown with Brady that everyone would love to see. The Chargers defeated the Broncos in this stadium back in Week 15 on the final Thursday night football matchup of the season and this could be a big factor in the game San Diego can stay close early on. Philip Rivers is having a very nice season and the Chargers looked very good against the Bengals last week in their upset wild card win.

This will be the third time that the two teams play this season and the Chargers com into the game having won their last five games and the Broncos have won four of their last five, only losing to San Diego during that time and now the two team will match up. The Broncos are coming into the playoffs after winning against the Oakland Raiders and Manning is looking to win his second career Super Bowl after coming up short last year.
