The Duke Blue Devils are getting ready for a matchup on Tuesday with Georgia Tech in the ACC to truly kick off their conference schedule and the game will be at Cameron Indoor Stadium at 7:00 pm from ESPN and will be streaming online from the WatchESPN website and has the number 16 team in the nation taking on the Yellow Jackets.

The Blue Devils are coming off of a loss in their actual ACC opener against Notre Dame and now they will look to get back on tract against GT on Tuesday night. The Blue Devils have slipped a bit in the overall rankings in college basketball, but the team has been playing very well as usual under head coach Mike Krzyzewski and they are averaging close to 85 points per game to rank 18th in the nation and freshman phenom Jabari Parker has been as good as advertised while leading the team in scoring and he will be one of the primary players to focus on, as he is tops over fellow star Rodney Hood with 20 to his 17 points per game and both players have been performing very well for Duke.

The team comes into the game with an 11-3 record and they are already 0-1 in conference play, making this game even more important, but with the matchup coming at home, it shouldn't be too tough of a contest. The team started the season with a win against Davidson before losing against Kansas and the team also lost to Arizona before falling to Notre Dame on the road and now the team has a tough schedule coming up with Clemson, Virginia and Miami, while the team plays against Syracuse on the road to start the February schedule.

Rodney Hood added 27 points in the game against Notre Dame and while they lost that game, Duke played very well for the most part and while the defense was shaky, the team said it learned from the loss and now takes that into their next matchup. The team has now won five straight games against GT and that makes this game even more important for Duke and they simply don't lose to them at home, as the Blue Devils have won six games in a row against the Yellow Jackets in Cameron and now they have the chance to get on a roll as the ACC schedule begins. Duke has a number of tough ACC games coming up and by the end of the schedule they could be back in the top 10 and they will be looking to move up next week after playing Clemson.
